Flowtain

in 1990 I created the flowtain with as basic idea that the earth is a very generous and tolerant host. The flowtain symbolizes the earth where humans are guests, allowed to walk undertake creative endeavours be creative. Strength outward and sheltered inward, respect for the host who in turn belongs to a group: the solar system.

Earth and human are unconditionally connected to each other. Humans, a luxuriant thicket of thoughts, know that when they soil the nest, they must also leave the shelter. We borrow the earth from future generations.

Walking through the flowtain in dialogue with the inward-facing pyramids. Sitting on the outer edge of the shallow basin, symbol for the circumference of the earth, enjoying the tranquility, a play or concert, a dance performance. The emergence of a meeting place!

Creative spirit, entrepreneur and seeker in all possible directions but belonging to a whole.

The project is a meeting of old and new, robust and fragile, charm and torment and perhaps there is something to be found out there, something beautiful, something … also searching!
